USDT contract address checker
A token can copy the USDT name and logo. Select the actual network, then compare its public contract address with the USD₮ contract listed by Tether for that network.
Check the token contract, not the wallet address
- Open the real transaction in the explorer for the network used.
- Open the transferred token’s detail page and copy its contract / mint address.
- Choose that exact network above and compare the full address.
A matching contract does not prove a transfer succeeded, an exchange credited funds, or a website is safe. A non-match is not an automatic scam verdict. Never connect a wallet or sign a message just to check a contract.
USDT contract-checking questions
Does a matching contract mean my transfer has arrived?
No. It only means the submitted network and contract match this copy of Tether’s list. Check the real TxID, recipient, status and the receiving platform’s supported network separately.
Is a non-matching token necessarily a scam?
No. It is not the Tether-listed USD₮ contract on the selected network. It could be a different token, a bridged representation or an input/network mistake. Do not treat it as issuer-issued USD₮ without independent verification.
Can I check BNB Smart Chain / BEP20 USDT here?
Not with this direct-issuer checker. Tether’s current supported-protocol list does not show a USD₮ contract under BNB Smart Chain. A bridged or exchange-issued representation needs its own issuer and bridge verification.
Does this audit smart-contract code or detect a honeypot?
No. This tool compares fixed addresses from one issuer list. It does not inspect permissions, liquidity, transfer restrictions, owner keys, taxes or other contract behavior.
