What is Google Authenticator?
Google Authenticator is an app that generates dynamic verification codes, refreshing with a new 6-digit number every 30 seconds. When logging into Binance, you need to enter this dynamic code in addition to your password. Even if your password is leaked, attackers cannot log in.
Step 1: Download Google Authenticator
Search for Google Authenticator on the App Store and download the official app (Developer: Google LLC).
Search for Google Authenticator on Google Play to download. For domestic phones in China, you can search on app stores like Tencent App Store or Huawei AppGallery.
Step 2: Bind Google Authenticator on Binance
- Log in to Binance, click the avatar in the top right corner → Security
- Find "Google Authenticator" and click "Enable"
- The page will display a QR code and a backup key
- Open the Google Authenticator app, click the "+" icon in the bottom right corner → "Scan a QR code"
- Scan the QR code on the Binance page
